Does Mauviel 1830 warranty their products?
Mauviel 1830 offers lifetime warranty for manufacturer's defects. We will replace any item with the same or similar item, if the item fails during use. Warranty not effective for commercial use.
Buying proof (order confirmation, invoice or receipt) is mandatory to check whether product can be cover by Mauviel Warranty
Mauviel 1830 Warranty:
Mauviel 1830 will repair or replace any item found defective in material, construction or workmanship under normal use and following care instructions. This excludes damage from misuse or abuse.
Retinning tin lined cookware is not included in Mauviel’s limited lifetime warranty. Since tin is a naturally soft metal retinning is normal maintenance on tin lined cookware. Daily wear and tear is not covered under Mauviel’s warranty
In order to keep your pans in the best condition and under warranty:
Do not use high heat for a long period of time. Do not leave empty pan on a heated burner for an extended period of time. For items that are not dishwasher safe, Do not use in dishwasher. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick cooking surface. The use of scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach and/or oven cleaners is not recommended and can scratch or damage your cookware. Misuse of your cookware will void your lifetime warranty. Bleach will erode the Stainless Steel interior and should not be used on any Mauviel cookware.
Can I order items that are available in France and not the USA?
Mauviel 1830 does special order products that are available outside the USA. Please contact customer service at customerhelp@mauviel.com for more information.
What care does copper cookware require?

Does copper cookware work on Induction?
You need an induction disk which contains magnetic stainless steel.
Can copper cookware go into the oven?
Yes but be careful with copper pieces with tin interiors (such as those in the M'Tradition collection). Tin starts to blister at approximately 460° F. Blistered tin needs to be retinned.
Can your copper cookware go in the dishwasher?
No.
Can you use bleach or cleaning products that contain bleach to clean your copper cookware?
No, bleach is corosive and will cause your cookware to pit.
Do handles stay cool while cooking?
Brass handles will get hot on the stove top. Stainless Steel handles will stay cool on the stove top. All handles will get hot if used in the oven.
Is copper cookware hard to maintain?
No, actually it's easier to maintain than stainless steel. Copper is a very soft highly polished metal that releases food very easily. Stainless steel is a very tough metal with a rough surface that holds on to food and makes it difficult to clean.
Are copper bowls better for beating egg whites?
Yes, beating or whipping egg whites in a copper bowl will produce a yellowish, creamy foam that is much harder to over-beat when compared to using plastic, ceramic, glass or stainless steel bowls. For more information, consult our How to Beat Egg Whites guide.
Do M'Cook and M'Urban 4 products work with Induction?
Yes.
Do M'Cook products go in dishwasher?
We don't recommend to use the dishwasher to clean M'COOK products. Indeed, the use of scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach and/or oven cleaners is not recommended and can scratch or damage your cookware. Misuse of your cookware will void your lifetime warranty. Bleach will erode the Stainless Steel interior and should not be used on any Mauviel 1830 cookware.
Do M'Cook product handles stay cool while cooking?
Brass and iron electroplated finish handles will get hot on the stove top. Stainless Steel handles will stay cool on the stove top. All handles will get hot if used in the oven.
Can all M'Cook and M'Urban 4 products be used in the oven?
Yes.
Can bleach be used to clean the stainless-steel cookware?
No.
Can all M'Cook and M'Urban 4 products be used on any kind of stoves?
Yes.
