  • The induction plate is welded (soldering + paint stripper). For the welding to be resistant, the weld and the stripper must come out of the sides. The area where the cable is soldered is pressed, small particles may be released in that area but they will not damage the kitchen utensils or the hob.

Use & Care
  • Use medium heat. Mauviel cookware conducts heat so well that you rarely need more than 60% of your burner's power (about 6 on a dial of 10).
  • Do not leave an empty pan on a hot burner.
  • Hand-wash unless the product is marked dishwasher safe. Avoid scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach and oven cleaners; they can scratch or damage your cookware, and bleach erodes stainless steel.
